The Otto's Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods between locations while maintaining high standards of vehicle care, food safety, and customer service. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to company procedures.
- Flexible roster based on operational needs Generally early morning starts through to early/midafternoon finishes
- Includes weekend work (Sundays required)
- Safely operate the company delivery vehicle
- Load and unload stock in a safe and organised manner
- Operate a forklift where required for loading/unloading deliveries
- Complete deliveries accurately and on time
- Follow all food safety and transport compliance standards
- Communicate effectively with store teams regarding deliveries Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle throughout the shift
- Valid Driver’s Licence (appropriate class for delivery vehicle)
- Current Forklift Licence (required)
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
- Take accountability for vehicle condition and delivery accuracy
- Report any issues, delays, or concerns promptly
- Work collaboratively with team members across locations
