Element On Coolum Beach and Allura Coolum are looking for a housekeeper to join our fantastic team. We are open to speaking with candidates looking for permanent part time or casual hours.
Requirements for this role:
- 1 year of relevant hotel or Airbnb cleaning experience
- Expected salary: $31 - $33 per hour
- Approximately 25 hours per week with more hours available during busy periods
- Available to work flexible shifts on a rotating 7 day roster, 8.30am to 2pm approx.
Element on Coolum Beach is a modern beachside resort offering premium accommodation and amenities in the heart of Coolum. Just next door is Allura Coolum, a group of modern three and four bedroom townhouses. Our team manages holiday apartments and the common property for both, surrounded by beautiful gardens, a resort pool and just steps from the beach, cafes, and shops. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest satisfaction through high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will be responsible for ensuring that all apartments townhouses and communal areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest level, reflecting the quality and comfort of our resort.
We are looking for someone who is fast but thorough and detail oriented, who will enjoy working with quality equipment and cleaning supplies provided by us, and work from a clearly organised schedule of work along with four others.
The role is primarily focused on the Allura Coolum townhouses. These are light, bright and easy to clean with stylish furnishings and quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest apartments and townhouses including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and balconies
- Replenish linens, towels, and amenities according to resort standards
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, reception, and shared facilities
- Report any maintenance issues, lost property, or damage promptly to management
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines at all times
- Work collaboratively with other housekeeping and resort team members
- Ensure guest privacy and security during servicing
About You
- Previous experience in cleaning hotels or Airbnbs
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Good time management and ability to work independently
- Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including moving linen and equipment from room to room, climbing stairs and making of beds and light moving of furniture.
- Flexible availability including some weekends and public holidays
- Must have own vehicle
All equipment and products are provided. Hours approximately 25 per week, with flexible shifts that can be in school hours. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a paid trial.

Pay: $31.00 – $33.00 per hour
