Mitchell + Beasley is looking for reliable people to join our team helping with furniture deliveries and property styling installations across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter.
This is a casual, hands-on role with hours depending on our weekly workload. It could suit someone with removals, delivery, warehouse or general labouring experience - or simply someone fit, reliable and comfortable with physical work.
What you'll be doing
- Loading and unloading furniture
- Delivering furniture to residential properties
- Helping our styling team set up and pack down homes
- Moving furniture safely and carefully
- Keeping trucks, equipment and warehouse areas organised
- General hands-on help when required
We're looking for someone who
- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will
- Is physically fit and comfortable lifting furniture
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes care around furniture and clients' homes
- Has a positive, practical attitude
- Has a current driver's licence – preferred
Previous removalist, delivery, warehouse or labouring experience is great, but reliability and attitude are just as important to us.
The work
This is casual work and hours will vary from week to week depending on jobs booked. There is potential for regular and increasing work for the right person as the business grows.
