We are currently seeking experienced English Tutors, school teachers and new graduate teachers to join our team at our Stanhope Gardens and Rouse Hill centres, teaching Primary and/or Secondary students.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We particularly welcome applications from school teachers and new graduate teachers with strong English teaching skills and experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong English teaching experience, preferably with Primary and/or Secondary students
- School teaching experience or a teaching qualification is highly preferred
- New graduate teachers are strongly encouraged to apply
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, reading comprehension, creative writing, persuasive writing and analytical writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Punctual, reliable and well organised
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, English or a related field is preferred
- Availability on weekdays after 3:00pm and Saturdays between 9:00am–5:00pm
HIGH-ACHIEVING ENGLISH STUDENTS
We also welcome applications from high-achieving university students who have a strong academic background in English.
For university students:
- HSC English Band 6 is highly preferred
- ATAR 90+ is highly preferred
- HSC English results and ATAR will be requested as part of the application process
- Previous tutoring, mentoring or teaching experience is an advantage
