The successful candidate will be responsible for providing healthy, nutritious meals to complement and support the health needs of patients and consumers, whilst also providing a diverse menu and meal options that meet the interests of Alpine Health’s consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
The Food Services Specialist maintains the following primary responsibilities:

Compliance with Alpine Health’s Food Safety program.

Production of diverse meal options that provides for consumer choice and meets nutritional and health need.

Contributes to a productive and enjoyable work environment through positive work place behavior

Service improvement to ensure the highest standards of food service.
Who we are looking for;
The Food Service Specialist (Cook) will have the following qualifications and experience.

Certificate 3 level qualification in a discipline related to food and catering services
-
Ability to work in a rotating roster across all shifts including weekdays, weekends and public holidays
-
Basic computer skills
-
Food handler’s certificate (can be obtained after commencement)

Food service experience in rural communities
