Jeder Institute is looking for a Level 2 Support Coordinator (CoS) to join our team and serve NDIS participants across Lismore and the wider Northern Rivers. This is an employed position - paid under the SCHADS Award - with genuine flexibility, real support behind you, and a clear pathway to Level 3 / Specialist Support Coordination.

WHAT THE ROLE ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
As a Level 2 Support Coordinator, you'll work alongside NDIS participants across Lismore and the Northern Rivers to help them understand their plans, connect with the right supports, and build the confidence to navigate the system on their own terms. Some days that's practical and process-driven. Some days it's sitting with someone in a really hard moment and helping them find a way through.
Day to day, you'll be:
- Helping participants make sense of their NDIS plans and get the most from them
- Connecting people with services, community supports and informal networks that genuinely fit their life
- Coordinating complex, multi-provider supports alongside mainstream services
- Being a steady, reliable presence when things get complicated or overwhelming
- Monitoring plan budgets across a 12-month cycle
- Completing service agreements, referrals, risk assessments and NDIA reports
- Supporting participants through plan reviews - developing goals, preparing documentation, advocating for what they need
A CoS is not a rostering service, a personal care worker, or a paid advocate. This work is about building capacity and independence - not creating dependency.

IS THIS YOU?
You'll feel right at home here if:
- You have a Diploma or Certificate IV in Community Services, Community Development, Disability, or equivalent relevant experience
- You know the NDIS well and can help participants navigate it with confidence
- You're experienced supporting people with mental health and/or psychosocial conditions - Recovery Coaching background is a bonus
- You're ready to work now and bring existing networks or community connections with you
- You're a clear, warm communicator - especially when things get complicated
- You can manage your own workflow without someone else setting your priorities
- You genuinely believe in a strengths-based, person-centred approach
- You have experience engaging with inter-agencies and local disability networks
- Training in Person-Centred Thinking, ABCD or Art of Hosting is a genuine plus
You might find this role frustrating if you're looking for close supervision, a rigid structure, or a caseload handed to you from day one. We're looking for someone who's ready to work independently - and who's energised rather than daunted by that.

HOW PAY WORKS
This is an employed position paid under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS Award MA000100) at the appropriate classification level based on your qualifications and experience. No admin fee. No income-share. Just a fair hourly rate for meaningful work.
