About the role:
Hunter Valley Private Hospital is currently looking for a successful candidate to work with the management team to be responsible for the educational needs of the hospital and provide additional support to the Director of Nursing in the Quality Assistant role.

We are an independent 83 bed facility with a 5 theatre Operating Suite providing medical (geriatric and palliation), rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and surgical services. Essential Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Demonstrated experience in nursing education

Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and practice in nursing

Demonstrated effective communication skills

Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development

Advanced computer skills
-
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team-based environment
Desirable Criteria:

Demonstrated involvement in Quality Improvement activities
-
Private hospital experience
-
Working towards post graduate qualifications in education

Certificate IV in Training and Education
