Working at Transurban is different; it’s a place where you can see the benefits of your work play out in real life, every day. We create city-sized solutions—building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads—to solve pressing transport challenges that are slowing cities down.
We're seeking a Head of Asset Performance NSW to lead the efficient and effective management of maintenance across Transurban's full NSW asset portfolio.
You'll join a senior leadership team that takes a best-practice, commercially disciplined approach to asset management — partnering closely with service providers, government stakeholders and internal teams to deliver infrastructure that millions of people rely on every day.
As our Head of Asset Performance NSW, you'll sit at the intersection of commercial performance, technical assurance and people leadership — owning a complex, high-stakes portfolio where the decisions you make directly impact the safety, reliability and long-term value of some of Australia's most critical road infrastructure. No two days look the same, and the scale of what you'll be accountable for is significant.
Lead the development and execution of Annual Maintenance Plans and asset management strategies, balancing risk, compliance and commercial performance across a complex infrastructure portfolio. Key assets include Westconnex, Northconnex, Hills M2, M5 East, M5 Southwest, Lane Cover Tunnel, Eastern Distributor and Cross City Tunnel.
This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferable skills and experiences, including:
A degree in Engineering, Management, Commerce or a related discipline — postgraduate qualifications and experience with road or tunnel technology (tolling, traffic management, safety systems) highly regarded
If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.
With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:
