What you'll do
Reporting to the General Manager of People - Primary Connect, you will partner with Directors across Primary Connect and BIG W and lead the implementation of key strategic initiatives, such as our IR Strategy and 5 year EA program and our overarching Team Experience strategy across our Primary Connect Network
Strategic Partnering & Executive Counsel: Translate business goals into a multi-year people plan, providing expert coaching to the leadership team on organisational design, workforce planning, and data-driven insights to enable fast, collaborative decision-making.-
Strategic Initiative & Talent Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of key initiatives (including IR Strategy, Team Experience, and the 5-Year EA Plan) while driving succession planning and high-potential leader development in partnership with Centres of Excellence.

Change & Transformation Management: Act as a change champion by co-leading the people workstream for major transformation programs and building change capability within leadership teams to ensure seamless adoption of new ways of working.

Team Development: Influence, coach, and develop the Team Experience Partners (TXPs) to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture that delivers exceptional, business-aligned people services.

Alignment & KPI Accountability: Ensure all local people initiatives align perfectly with broader Group People ambitions (inclusive, hybrid, team-first, customer-first) while tracking and measuring accountability against business and people KPIs.
What you'll bring
Strategic HR Leadership: Demonstrated experience in a senior HR Business Partnering role, with a proven ability to translate business strategy into impactful people initiatives.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional influencing, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to partner effectively with senior Director-level leaders.
Talent & Capability Development: Deep expertise in talent management, succession planning, and driving large-scale capability programs.
Change Management: Proven experience leading the people-stream of major organisational change and transformation projects.
Project Leadership: Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives from conception to completion.
Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of the commercial drivers of a business and how HR can add value.
People Leadership: Experience in leading and developing other HR professionals to build a high-performing team.
