With the recent opening of Grappa The Rocks, alongside our much-loved Leichhardt venue, we are entering an exciting new chapter and are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to help tell our story.
We are looking for a creative marketer, content creator, and storyteller who can bring our venues to life online and build meaningful engagement with our guests.
Working closely with ownership and management, you will have the opportunity to shape the marketing direction of both venues, create compelling content, promote events and experiences, and develop partnerships within the local community.
About the Role
As Grappa's Social Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing our digital marketing strategy across both venues.
From capturing the energy of a busy service and showcasing our food, cocktails, wine list, and private events, to creating campaigns that drive bookings and brand awareness, no two days will be the same.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Social Media
- Manage Grappa's presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms
- Create, film, edit, and publish engaging photo and video content
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars
- Create reels, stories, campaigns, and promotional content
- Monitor engagement and respond to messages and enquiries
- Track analytics and provide insights to improve performance
Marketing & Brand Growth
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns across both venues
- Promote special events, wine dinners, seasonal menus, private dining experiences, and venue activations
- Assist with email marketing campaigns and database growth
About You
We're looking for someone who is creative, proactive, and genuinely passionate about hospitality, food, wine, and events.
You will have:
- Previous experience in social media, marketing, content creation, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and digital marketing trends
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills
- Experience creating short-form video content and engaging visual storytelling
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence working independently and managing multiple projects
- A positive attitude and willingness to be hands-on within the venues
Highly Regarded
- Hospitality, food, beverage, or lifestyle marketing experience
- Photography and videography skills
- Experience promoting events and venue activations
