MSM Stone is looking for a reliable Waterjet Machine Operator to join our team.
MSM Stone is a Melbourne-based stone company specialising in stone supply, fabrication, and installation for residential and commercial projects. We work with builders, architects, designers, and homeowners, delivering quality stonework for kitchens, bathrooms, vanities, fireplaces, feature walls, benchtops, and custom stone works.
We currently have 2 waterjet machines that need to be operated and looked after daily.
About the role:
You will be responsible for operating and monitoring the waterjet machines, cutting stone as per job requirements, checking drawings and measurements, and making sure the machines are running safely and efficiently.
Key duties:
- Operate and monitor 2 waterjet machines
- Load and cut stone as per drawings and job requirements
- Check measurements before cutting
- Carry out basic machine cleaning and maintenance
- Work with the factory team to complete jobs on time
- Follow safety procedures at all times
About you:
- Experience operating a waterjet machine is preferred
- Stone industry experience will be an advantage
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Able to work in a factory environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
