Vine & Grind is looking for a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team in Westfield, Liverpool.
The Role
As a Barista at Vine & Grind, you will be the face of our morning rush and the architect of our guests' daily rituals. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high quality and consistency across every cup while contributing to our warm, community-focused atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and cold drinks with speed and precision.
- Dial in the grinder daily and monitor extraction times to ensure every shot meets our standards.
- Steam and texture milk to perfection, consistently delivering high-quality latte art.
- Provide exceptional service, taking orders accurately and making recommendations based on our menu.
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation, including regular cleaning of the espresso machine and grinders.
- Collaborate with floor staff to ensure smooth service and assist with light food prep or till duties when needed.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 6months - 1 year of experience in a high-volume specialty coffee environment.
- Technical Skill: Proficient in manual espresso extraction and latte art.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay calm and efficient during a busy rush.
- Hospitality Heart: A friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine love for people.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with availability for early morning shifts and weekends.
