In the role of Project Support Officer, you will provide a range of administrative program support services to project team members utilising a broad range of software programs and systems while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures. This is a generic position and the appointee may be required to participate in job rotation and multi-skilling.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Where required, administer, maintain and ensure the delivery of a range of high-level support activities associated with delivery of the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP), including:
- Interpret and apply procurement and financial policies and procedures. Understand and apply contemporary procurement practices in relation to purchasing of goods and services for infrastructure projects to ensure the efficient delivery of roads infrastructure program activities (QTRIP).
- Prepare procurement and financial documentation such as requisitions, purchase orders, EMS invoices payments, corporate card transactions and goods receipts.
- Provide support to scheduling projects in accordance with the district offices' monthly updating & reporting cycle' and business rules.
- Apply basic knowledge of recordkeeping management principles, policies and standards.
- Provide high level non-technical support to project managers and team members, including formatting documents, establishing, and maintaining spreadsheets and registers, generating documents and reports, managing general enquiries and entering data into departmental systems.
Mandatory qualifications and conditions
- Current holder of a 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
