Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical health,
factoring in their medical history, injuries, and existing conditions.
- Craft customised treatment plans that cater to each patient's specific
needs, emphasising mobility enhancement, pain relief, and functional
autonomy.
- Deliver hands-on physiotherapy interventions, such as manual therapy,
exercise prescription, therapeutic modalities, and education on injury
prevention and self-management techniques.
- Consistently monitor and record patients' progress, adjusting treatment
plans as necessary to assure ideal outcomes.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with patients, their families,
and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care to
guarantee a comprehensive and coordinated approach.
- Adhere strictly to ethical and legal guidelines, ensuring patient
confidentiality and maintaining professional behaviour at all times.
- Stay current with the most recent developments in physiotherapy
practices and techniques through ongoing learning and professional
growth.
Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board
of Australia.
- Experiences within a home care/residential aged care setting desired.
- Deep understanding of physiotherapy principles, theories, methods, and
their appropriate application.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to commute to client homes and aged care facilities
- Valid driver's license and access to dependable transportation.
- Police Check.
- Up to date with Flu & COVID-19 Vaccinations
