We’re growing our Brisbane team and looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to drive new business across the construction, engineering, utilities, manufacturing, and trade sectors.
If your career has been built on opening doors, creating opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term customers, not simply managing existing accounts, we’d love to hear from you.
This role is heavily focused on new business development. We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of identifying opportunities, building relationships, and consistently winning new customers.
What will you bring:
- Hunt and secure new B2B opportunities across your territory
- Grow and develop existing customer accounts alongside new wins
- Build strong client relationships through tailored solutions and ongoing support
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and industry engagement
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to develop sales strategies
- Manage your pipeline and CRM records with discipline
- Report on performance and market insights to drive growth
You’ll be trusted to own your territory, identify growth opportunities, and make a measurable contribution to the continued success of C&L Tool Centre. What you bring
- A proven track record in business development — not just account management
- Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM to drive consistent results
- Solid organisation and attention to detail
- Experience in industrial, tooling, building, or trade sectors is a plus — but we’re open to strong BDMs from other industries, too
