About the Role:
Centurion is seeking a professional Customer Service Officer to join the team in Perth Airport. The Customer Service Officer is responsible for delivering high quality customer service through inbound and outbound contact, including phone, email, webforms, live chat and other digital channels. The role ensures customer enquiries are resolved efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with Centurions organisational policies, service standards and regulatory obligations. This position also contributes to continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and overall contact centre performance. This will be a Maternity Leave contract position for 12 months with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service by responding to enquiries via phone email webforms and live chat
- Resolve customer complaints and investigations at first contact using effective problem solving
- Manage operational support tasks including booking freight creating consignments, printing labels and process invoice payments as required to support customer and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate customer records transactions and interaction details within the database and generate and communicate proactive customer reporting as directed.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and positive outcomes
- Follow company policies to identify and escalate high risk issues or complaints appropriately
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience working within a high-volume contact centre environment
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in CRM systems ticketing and telephony platforms
- Ability to navigate multiple digital systems and adapt to new technology quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Well-developed time management and conflict resolution skills to handle competing priorities
- Transport or logistics industry experience is highly desirable though not a prerequisite
