We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our busy café team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced café environment and takes pride in preparing quality food with consistency and care.
Hours
- Typical shifts: 6:00am – 1:30pm
- Saturday availability is essential
- Additional weekday shifts available
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch menu items
- Daily food preparation and stock rotation
- Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with front of house operations at certain times
- Opening and setting up the kitchen for service
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a café, deli, or commercial kitchen
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliability and punctuality
- Availability to work Saturdays
