Explore the opportunity to develop your career in the growing aged care and disability industry. We are currently looking for a full time Team Leader - NDIS Support Coordination to join our Mid North Coast team.
As a Team Leader in Support Coordination, you play a pivotal role in guiding and strengthening the delivery of high quality NDIS services. You’ll lead and mentor Support Coordinators to ensure participants receive coordinated, effective supports that build capacity and align with their NDIS goals. Your leadership ensures the team maintains exceptional standards of compliance, documentation and practice, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and participant‑centred service.
You’ll oversee complex caseloads, provide guidance on risk management and support staff to navigate barriers impacting plan implementation. Through proactive coaching and operational oversight, you’ll ensure participants can access their plans confidently, make informed decisions, and experience a streamlined, well‑supported NDIS journey.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee see your own caseload and service delivery timeliness.

Ensure participants receive coordinated, person‑centred, capacity‑building support.
Foster a collaborative, accountable and engaged team culture
What You’ll Bring
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration and achieving outstanding results.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Support Coordinator with a registered NDIS provider, showcasing your in-depth knowledge of the NDIS framework.
- A genuine interest and demonstrated ability to manage complex cases, employing strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building trusted relationships with participants, families and service providers.
What you will need
Essential
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the disability sector
- Demonstrated high level awareness of issues affecting the disability sector and people with disabilities
- Experience in providing services to customers including assessment and monitoring processes and other services including mainstream
- Experience in (or the willingness to learn) risk assessments within a workplace safety context
- Demonstrated experience in working toward targets to meet program outputs and outcomes
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including familiarity with and confidence in using, the Microsoft Suite
- Demonstrated commitment to working within a strengths based, person-centred framework
- Proven leadership skills
- Proven relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as good interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently and accurately and prioritise workloads
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to leverage networks
- Current and clear NDIS Worker Check
- Valid Australian driving licence
