Approval to teach special education and/or experience working with students who have diverse and complex learning needs, including mild intellectual disabilities, mental health diagnoses and behaviour difficulties, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed practices.

Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor quality personalised learning and support plans and proven capacity to develop differentiated and innovative learning programs utilising knowledge of curriculum, assessment and the Disability Standards for Education.

Evidence of high-level interpersonal skills and capacity to effectively communicate across all stakeholders within the school context including parents/carers, external agencies and the wider community, to build positive and engaging learning environments to enhance student outcomes.
