Role Description/Criteria
St Michael's Catholic Primary School, Ashburton, is seeking a highly motivated Science / STEM teacher to join our community for 0.4, replacement teaching position. The days of work will be Mondays and Tuesdays for Terms 3 and 4, 2026.
The successful applicant will:

enrich our students with an engaging and contemporary Science / STEM curriculum

work alongside students and staff to ensue that the Science / STEM program has a strong presence in the culture of St Michael's School

provide an environment of inspiration, engagement, and enjoyment to the children in our care

model the Catholic and community values of the school, working with the community of this school which is made up of families from diverse social backgrounds

have a commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of Child Safety Standards

have a strong commitment to the philosophy of Catholic Education

be registered with the VIT or hold Permission to Teach
