About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mechanical Assembler / Storeperson to join our team. This dual role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, combining hands-on mechanical assembly with daily warehousing and store duties.
No prior experience in gearbox assembly is required—we provide full training! If you have a basic mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop & Assembly:
- Perform basic assembly work building industrial gearboxes (bench work and using a jib crane).
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assembly tasks.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly or packing process.
Warehousing & Stores:
- Pick and pack parts accurately for orders and production.
- Process warehouse paperwork using SAP (complete training will be provided).
- Assist with physical tasks, including some heavy lifting.
Quality, Safety & Culture:
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (adhering to housekeeping and safety standards).
- Follow all safety protocols and proactively report any hazards to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment and follow structured instructions.
Job Requirements
- Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and capability with hand tools.
- Core Abilities: Ability to read and write clearly, with excellent attention to detail.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of fulfilling the physical demands of the role, including lifting and standing.
- Teamwork: A positive attitude with the ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Licences: A valid Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence are highly preferred.
- Work Authorization: Must have full rights to work in Australia.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
