Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Then this role is perfect for you. About us
Located in Wantirna, Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with 334 beds, providing Emergency Services, Extensive Surgical Specialities, ICU, CCU, Medical, and a full range of Cardiac Services including two 24-hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories.
Our theatre complex comprises of 15 theatres including both a Day Procedure Centre and a Hybrid Theatre supporting a range of acute specialties including General, Endoscopy, Colorectal, Bariatric & Liver surgery, advanced laparoscopic procedures, Cardiac, Neuro, Orthopaedic, Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Vascular, ENT & Paediatric surgery
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver exceptional, safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to our patients

- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
- Provide support and guidance to our graduate and undergraduate nursing staff.
Essential Criteria:
- Authority to Work in Australia
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA with a minimum 2 years’ experience
- Demonstrated experience in a surgical environment advantageous
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster
