Hudson Meats is seeking an experienced and passionate Butcher to join our talented team. Based on Sydney's Lower North Shore, this full-time position plays a key role in delivering premium quality products and an exceptional customer experience.
As a Hudson Meats Butcher, you will contribute to the efficient and quality-focused store operations while maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and craftsmanship.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting day-to-day butchery operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and hygienic practices
- Delivering exceptional customer service and preparing premium cuts to customer specifications
- Training and mentoring junior team members to uphold high professional standards
- Managing stock levels, and maintaining store cleanliness
- Collaborating with the broader team to identify opportunities for operational improvement and business growth
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a qualified butcher
- Strong customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a premium shopping experience
- Excellent knife skills and expert meat-cutting knowledge
- Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- A genuine passion for the butchery industry and continuous improvement
- Certificate III in Meat Processing or equivalent formal butchery qualification required
- Must have legal authorisation to work in Australia
