Join the Team
As a Product Owner of GitHealth, you will be responsible for leading the ongoing enhancement, release management and daily operation of the product, while actively promoting its benefits through a strong user community. You will champion modern, secure and AI-enabled development practices, encourage knowledge sharing, and help grow a library of reusable modules, documentation and other artefacts contributed by community members.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage the GitHealth product roadmap, feature enhancements, release planning, vendor relationship, cost optimisation and day-to-day operational priorities.
- Champion AI-enabled software development practices, including the effective use of GitHub Copilot and other leading AI developer tools.
- Promote GitHealth’s AI and security capabilities through visible advocacy, stakeholder engagement, demonstrations and practical guidance.
- Build and energise a vibrant user community that shares knowledge, contributes reusable modules, documentation and other artefacts, and continuously improves the GitHealth ecosystem.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong hands-on experience in modern development environments across leading vendor platforms and ecosystems, including enterprise GitHub, cloud-native DevSecOps, automation, secure delivery pipelines, AI-assisted development tools and contemporary software engineering practices.
- Inspires and grows internal customer engagement by bringing out people’s passion for development through community events, showcases, knowledge-sharing sessions, hackathons and practical collaboration opportunities.
- Brings product ownership and stakeholder leadership skills with the ability to translate user needs into product features, manage priorities and releases, and work confidently with technical teams, cyber security, operations and business stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in software engineering, computer science, information technology, product management or a related discipline. Applicants should have experience across modern enterprise software development ecosystems such as GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps or Atlassian Bitbucket/Jira, and practical skills of AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code and other leading AI coding assistants. Relevant certifications or demonstrated experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, agile delivery, cyber security or product ownership will be highly regarded.
