The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist - Senior (Emergency) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Deliver high level physiotherapy clinical services as part of a multi-professional team
Undertake high level physiotherapy duties within the Emergency Department
Initiate, develop, implement and evaluate quality and service improvement activities
Contribute to and promote emergency department and physiotherapy clinical research activities
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Physiotherapy
Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent part time (60.8 hours per fortnight)
Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour

Physiotherapists within the Emergency Department provide high level physiotherapy clinical services to presenting patients and high-level advice regarding physiotherapy relevant to the emergency setting for staff, service managers and health care consumers.
