Details: ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, career-oriented person to temporarily fill the role of Senior Director, Strategic and Infrastructure Projects (SOGA). This position is available from 1 August 2026 to 30 June 2027 with a possible extension, not exceeding 12 months.
The Senior Director will have a key focus on establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships across ACTCS and with external stakeholders to support the delivery of the AMC Masterplan, including business case development, further design work, and the future construction of the Reintegration Precinct and associated infrastructure.
In addition, you will oversee the delivery of significant infrastructure initiatives, including the completion of the new Staff Administration Building, improvement works within detainee areas, and other strategic projects that support ACTCS priorities.
Further to this, you will provide strategic oversight of infrastructure and ICT project priorities to ensure business objectives are achieved through a coordinated approach to project delivery. You will also lead the development of business cases and governance frameworks, provide strategic advice to executives and stakeholders, and ensure project outcomes align with the ACTCS strategic vision and AMC Masterplan.
To be successful, you will possess exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills demonstrated experience in project management and governance, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or equivalent work experience in the criminal justice system is highly desirable.
