We have an opportunity available for an Equipment & Wash Supervisor to join our team at Melbourne Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership role within a fast-paced aviation and catering environment.
About the Role
As an Equipment & Wash Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations across dishwash, bulk equipment, dry store, and bar packing areas, ensuring all airline equipment and flight sets are prepared accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations across equipment, wash, and packing areas

Ensure all flight equipment is packed accurately to plans and ready on time

Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and maintain inventory accuracy

Allocate labour and support team productivity across shiftsLead, coach, and communicate with team members to drive performance
-
Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, and safety standards
-
Manage daily operational challenges such as schedule changes and shortages
-
Support stocktakes, reporting, and KPI performance
About You

Available to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including AM and PM shifts
-
Experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehousing, or production
-
Strong understanding of inventory control and fast-paced operations
-
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams

Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
-
Experience working with HACCP and WHS standards
-
Able to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment
-
Competent in documentation and records management.

Forklift licence (desirable)
