What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse within Anaesthetics and Recovery, you will provide safe, evidence based and compassionate care throughout the perioperative patient journey. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will use your clinical expertise to support patients before, during and after surgery while contributing to positive patient outcomes and continuous service improvement.
- Deliver high quality, person centred nursing care across anaesthetic and recovery settings
- Assess, monitor and respond to changing patient conditions using sound clinical judgement
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support safe patient discharge planning
- Supervise, mentor and support students, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing as required
- Advocate for patients and families while promoting safety, quality improvement and efficient use of clinical resources
