A unique opportunity has arisen for a growth minded and customer focused Inventory Controller to join our Supply Team. Based in Perth and reporting to the Planning and Inventory Control Manager, the Inventory Controller will act as a core conduit between our operations and our customers by ensuring consistent, steady and timely availability of our products across our extensive and geographically dispersed customer base and distribution network.
The Inventory Controller will be responsible for:
- Ensuring inventory availability to meet sales and distribution demand, including inventory at all GMA Garnet third party providers;
- Leading monthly inventory audits at all GMA sites and product suppliers and implementing corrective activities to drive continuous improvement and accuracy;
- Reviewing, planning, and coordinating inventory logistics, interfacing with transport providers and warehousing teams to deliver against plans;
- Ensuring inventory accuracy, tracking transfers and adjustments as required to ensure inventory is maintained within agreed targets;
- Supporting reconciliations and stock entry tracking activities.
- Managing and optimising transport services and transfers;
- Proactively seeking stock holding optimisation opportunities; and,
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities across inventory and stock management to drive consistent, accurate, timely and quality service.

- 2+ years’ experience in customer focussed inventory control or warehouse administration.
- Diploma in Logistics or Business or relevant demonstrated experience.
Experience with a work management and ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, manage time, prioritise work and proactively identify emergent risks
