The Roles:
The Senior: The role would suit a qualified senior who may have taken some time away from the industry and is ready to come back in some capacity, or may want to change from a full time role to a part time role to suit their personal needs. However someone still actively working and loving hairdressing, you would also be an ideal person. Any specialty/s you may have added to your skillset would be a bonus. Commitment and honesty for this role would be a must. Having an existing clientele is not necessary but it would demonstrate that your clients love your work and the relationship you have with them. There is an opportunity for the right person to eventuallly buy the salon
The Colourist: As per the requirements for the Senior role, the person we are looking for to be our main Colourist would also need to be fully qualified however if you are willing to continue your training to complete your qualifications with us, then that would be ideal too. In this role, as-well as assisting our small team with colour applications, you will be providing solutions, recommending colours, treatments and home maintenance for each particular application therefore you will be an important part of the whole process leading fabulous outcomes for all our existing clients and any of your clients who may follow where you go. Your days would also involve reception duties when you’re free from colour work and general duties such as cleaning, tea and coffee making and end of day duties which our whole team has always shared equally.
