About the Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on role focusing on residential maintenance, fault-finding, and asset upgrades. Working both independently and alongside eager apprentices, you will be the face of Leenderts Electrical on-site, delivering reliable, compliant, and exceptional solutions to our loyal client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical: Efficiently diagnose, fault-find, and repair diverse residential electrical issues.
- Compliance: Ensure all installations strictly comply with AS/NZS 3000.
- Testing: Perform comprehensive testing and verification per AS/NZS 3017.
- Documentation: Accurate and timely completion of Certificates of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW).
- Leadership: Provide on-site mentorship, guidance, and support to apprentices.
- Communication: Maintain clear, polite communication with clients and our office team.

What We Are Looking ForEssential Criteria:
- NSW Electrical Supervisor or Contractor Licence (Non-negotiable)
- Proven expertise in residential fault-finding and diagnostics
- Deep working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, and AS/NZS 3017
- Absolute commitment to WHS, safe work practices, and correct testing protocols
- Current Construction White Card
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- Exceptional presentation, punctuality, and attention to detail
Required Tickets:
- Working at Heights
- Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) & CPR
Highly Regarded (Nice to Have):
- Experience with structured cabling (data, coax, communications)
- Open Cabling Registration
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) & National Police Check

Pay: $90,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
