ABOUT THE ROLE
Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learner to join our Workshop team at Brendale, Qld 4500. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm!
In this role your key responsibilities would include:
- Complete repairs and inspections - work safely, meet auction deadlines, and follow required quality standards
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections - assess condition, identify issues, and complete required inspection checks
- Perform vehicle servicing and minor repairs - diagnose faults, complete maintenance, and prepare vehicles for sale
- Provide customer service - support customers, vendors, and buyers with clear communication and practical assistance
- Maintain a safe work environment - follow company processes, use safe work practices, and keep the workshop compliant
- Interpret and source parts – identify correct parts requirements, order components, manage inventory, and liaise with suppliers to minimise downtime
- Coordinate dealership and warranty bookings – liaise with dealerships to arrange servicing, warranty repairs, recalls, and manufacturer-approved repair work, ensuring bookings are managed efficiently
- Maintain accurate records – complete required documentation and ensure company records are kept up to date and accurate
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Full Mechanic qualifications
- Current & valid driver's licence
- Relevant experience working in a high paced mechanic workshop
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Approved Examiner through Department of Transport and Main Roads – Preferred but can assist in getting qualified for the right person.
