As we scale, we’re strengthening our Finance & People Operations function with a detail‑driven Payroll & Management Accountant who keeps our financial and payroll systems accurate, compliant, and running smoothly.

You’ll manage end‑to‑end payroll, prepare monthly management accounts, maintain financial records, and ensure all processes meet legislative and internal standards. This role suits someone who values accuracy, structure, and dependable financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Process payroll accurately and on time
- Maintain employee records, leave balances, and payroll data integrity
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work, NES, awards, and internal policies
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Maintain ledgers, journals, and financial statements
- Complete payroll, bank, and financial reconciliations
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Uphold internal controls and audit requirements
- Work closely with Finance, HR, and Clinic Operations
Qualifications
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years’ payroll and management accounting experience
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and financial regulations
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication

Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
- Familiarity with Employment hero HRIS/payroll platforms and multi‑site environments
- Strong confidentiality and professional judgement
