task and duities
- Electrical work – batteries, alternators, starters, lights, sensors, wiring faults
- Use diagnostic equipment – OBD scanners, multimeters, manufacturer software
- Carry out logbook and general vehicle servicing
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in wide range of vehicles
- Perform advance fault repairs with brake, suspension, steering and cooling system repairs
- Carry out engine and driveline repairs
- Use diagnostic scan tools to accurately identify faults and repair
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests
- Complete repair orders and service documentation
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized workshop
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
- follow workplace health and safety procedures
- perform timing belt/chain replacement
Qualification and experience
- Relevant experience working as motor mechanic or certification
- Strong knowledge of electrical, transmission, braking systems and suspension.
- Good communication skills and organisational skills
- Current Australian driver license

Pay: $46.00 – $52.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 – 48.0 per week
