Tyre Fitter / Tyre Technician – Full-Time Position
We are looking for experienced and motivated Tyre Fitters / Tyre Technicians to join our growing tyre shop team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for fitting, repairing and maintaining tyres while providing high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Fitting, balancing and rotating passenger, 4WD, light truck and/or truck tyres
- Tyre puncture repairs and tyre inspections
- Removing and fitting wheels and tyres safely
- Wheel balancing and basic wheel-related services
- Inspecting tyres for wear, damage and safety issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
- Using tyre fitting equipment and tools correctly
- Assisting customers with tyre-related enquiries
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Assisting with mobile and roadside tyre service when required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or Tyre Technician is preferred
- Experience with truck and commercial tyres is highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual work
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A valid Australian driver’s licence is preferred
