This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What you'll be doing
To provide high level support to the Director Clinical Governance and Patient Safety & Clinical Quality Manager, managers and staff, to promote a positive safety and quality culture in which patient safety and governance systems, patient safety and quality experience, clinical risk management, and consumer involvement are an integral part of core business.
Work collaboratively with FWLHD facility and service managers, staff and consumers, identifying opportunities to review and improve patient safety, patient centredness, and outcomes.
It involves capacity building, monitoring for performance, incident and complaints management, dissemination of relevant information, preparation of relevant documents and reports.
