You want to actively participate in shaping policies and initiatives that reduce carbon emissions, promote renewable energy adoption, and enhance the overall environmental performance of the transport network.
In this role, you'll:
You'll provide practical environmental and sustainability advice to staff and contractors, helping projects and operations meet NSW regulatory requirements and community expectations.
Working as part of an embedded team, you'll support consistent application of environmental legislation, policy, and procedures across projects, programs, and operations. This includes contributing to the development of strategies, guidelines, and procedures that help manage and resolve environmental matters effectively.
Please note that this is an 18-month fixed full-time contract based in Parramatta, with 50% workplace attendance requirements.

About you
- Sound knowledge of the NSW environmental regulatory framework
- Experience monitoring and evaluating environmental performance, with the ability to provide clear, constructive guidance
- Proven ability to identify, assess, and manage environmental and sustainability risks and impacts
- Tertiary qualification in environmental management, sustainability, planning, engineering, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience
