Practice Nurse – General Practice – Wickham ClinicOpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our busy General Practice, conveniently located next to the interchange at Wickham. This is a flexible position, and we are happy to offer school hours to the right candidate.We are seeking a Practice Nurse who is passionate about Primary Health Care Nursing and enjoys supporting our GPs across all areas of the clinic.The Role Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Performing health assessments
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures, including wound dressings and suture removals
- Administering vaccines
- Arranging care plans
- Providing patient health education
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience working in General Practice
Desirable Skills
- Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments
- Ability to perform general practice nursing duties, including immunisations, procedure assistance, and wound care
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and prioritise workloads effectively
- Ability to manage in a busy workplace with fluctuating levels of demand
- Experience using Best Practice software (advantageous)
