The Role: Impact, Leadership and Clinical Excellence
As a Clinical Lead, you will balance an active, rewarding clinical caseload with high-impact strategic leadership. You will act as the organisational lead for occupational therapy, driving transdisciplinary practice and building capability across the service.
Key responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Governance: Provide expert advice, set clinical standards, and contribute to our Clinical Governance Committee.
Mentorship & Capability Building: Coach, supervise, and support allied health clinicians to strengthen clinical reasoning, confidence, and capability.
Transdisciplinary Practice Leadership: Lead the integration of occupational therapy approaches across all service streams, supporting collaborative practice.
Student Supervision & Workforce Development: Oversee university student placement programs and strengthen partnerships with tertiary education providers.
The capabilities you will bring:
A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification with current AHPRA registration
Minimum 7 years’ clinical experience, ideally in paediatric and/or disability settings
Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership, service development, or practice innovation
Strong commitment to person-centred and family-centred practice, with sound understanding of NDIS requirements
Ability to balance clinical practice with leadership responsibilities
Current driver’s licence, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and full Australian working rights
