We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Senior Development Engineer Anaplan reporting to Executive Manager, FP&R Systems.
A bit about your role
The Senior Development Engineer is a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Systems team and plays a critical role in enabling high-quality enterprise planning and decision-making across the Finance and business communities. It is responsible for the end-to-end design, build and ongoing optimisation of complex Anaplan planning solutions and combines deep Anaplan technical expertise with strong data management, integration and stakeholder engagement skills.
The role also contributes to the evolution of advanced planning capabilities, including the adoption of scenario modelling, optimisation, predictive analytics and AI-enabled forecasting techniques, and acts as a technical lead within the Anaplan Centre of Excellence, helping to uplift standards, consistency, capability and platform adoption across the organisation.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring strong Cloud-based planning and modelling experience and a thorough understanding of how to build, maintain and integrate advanced models using the Anaplan platform. They will be well versed in developing complex financial & operational models and have a proven track record in successful multi-user model delivery. Ideally, they will have working knowledge of more recent platform capabilities such as Polaris, advanced workflow and AXL reporting & disclosure management.
The ideal candidate will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with the demonstrable ability to collaborate with a wide variety of internal stakeholders to drive the successful design, development and delivery of Anaplan solutions. This includes the ability to negotiate minimum viable product design to achieve delivery timelines and an ability to convey and explain complex modelling techniques and requirements in a simple, end-user friendly manner.
