Team Lead: MC-55A Supply Chain

About the Role
Are you a strategic logistics leader ready to spearhead supply chain excellence for cutting-edge airborne capabilities?
As the Team Lead for the MC-55A Supply Chain, you will champion the performance and service delivery of the Airbus Operations MS&L team. Serving as the vital focal point for all tactical and service delivery activities, you will leverage your exceptional communication, team-building, and problem-solving skills. Your mission: to drive a "best for weapon system, best for customer" mindset, acting as a dedicated platform steward.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of inventory controllers and warehouse personnel. You will ensure services are delivered with the precision required to meet strict contractual and customer milestones, while fostering a cooperative, cost-effective strategy through to the platform's planned withdrawal date.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Supply Chain Management: Oversee both CP and non-CP Breakdown Spares and Repairable Item Supply Chains, including non-CP procurement services.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage assigned Commonwealth funds within TMS, driving performance management and budget compliance.
- Framework & Compliance: Lead the Supply Chain aspects of the Performance Framework, ensuring strict adherence to interfaces, policies, and procedures.
- Stakeholder Integration: Actively participate in the IPT Joint Management Team, managing critical relationships with the CP and 42WG.
- Resource Optimization: Plan and balance resources, interdependencies, and team competencies to seamlessly meet program demand forecasts.
About You

Your Experience & Qualifications:
- Education: A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership: Extensive experience managing personnel and guiding high-performing teams to success.
- Strategic Influence: Proven ability to contribute to and shape overall service delivery strategies.
- Defence Expertise: Deep understanding of inventory and logistics processes within a Defence environment, backed by relevant Defence training in Supply or Aviation trade groups.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A solid grasp of Aviation industry compliance (e.g., DASR, CASA, EASA, ITAR, export/import controls) and how they apply to spares and supply chain management.
