To meet our growing demands, we are looking for a Project Planning & Controls Specialist (Maximum term - 12 months) to join our team.
The Role: Reporting to the IAP Manager, the purpose of this technical role is to be accountable for driving the integration of the project cost and schedule functions to deliver best for overall business outcomes for Arrow. Experience in both project planning, scheduling and maintaining monthly progress reporting is vital.
This is a Brisbane based position but may require occasional travel to our field operations as required.
In addition, you will:
- Assist Senior Planners with development, maintenance and delivery of accurate project schedules to meet the requirements of the business and are in line with the Arrow Project Management System and the IAP Process.
- Work with the Cost and Planning Managers to:
- Fully integrate cost and schedule, Planned value and Earned Value
- Manage the integration complexity of the megaproject
- Test the reliability to ensure robust cost and schedule forecasts
- The identification and verification of project control inputs to prepare quality updates using industry standard software and reporting tools.
- Manage the inputs from multiple internal stakeholders to implement project planning requirements.
- Provide regular and accurate project control analysis & reports to the Planning Manager and GM Project Controls, and other internal & external business stakeholders
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
About You
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- Degree or similar qualifications in project related profession and /or Project Services Industry Certification
- Experience in planning and project services
- CSG experience (preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and proactive
- Primavera P6 and Excel experience (required).
- Detailed reporting experience, including Earned Value Analysis and progress S-Curves.
- Ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutions.
- Experience in unconventional oil and gas industry (desirable).
