Job Position: NDIS Cleaning Supervisor

Position Overview
The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating cleaning services delivered to NDIS participants. The role involves supervising cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety, maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, and supporting participants through respectful and person-centred service delivery.
The Cleaning Supervisor is expected to lead by example, ensure all cleaning duties are completed to professional standards, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for NDIS participants, staff, and visitors.

What we are looking for
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across participant homes, SIL properties, and SDA accomodations.
- Conduct regular staff performance monitoring and provide guidance, coaching, and support.
- Ensure staff attendance, punctuality, presentation, and professionalism.
- Ensure all staff understand infection control procedures, workplace safety requirements, and participant rights.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company standards and participant
- Demonstrate an understanding of OHS legislation and how it applies to the position
- Demonstrate practical knowledge of managing OHS in their area of responsibility
Cleaning Operations
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ensure correct and safe use of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections and spot checks.
- Oversee routine and deep cleaning services including:
Bathrooms and toilets
Kitchens and food preparation areas
Bedrooms and living spaces
Floors, carpets, and windows
Laundry and linen management
Waste disposal and sanitisation
Essential Qualification
- At least 4 years’ experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, or disability cleaning services.
- Experience supervising or leading cleaning teams.
- Certificate III or IV in Cleaning Operations
- Current National Police Check.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Infection Control Certificate
- Working with Children Check (if applicable).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of infection control and WHS practices.
Hourly Rate: $35-40 per hour
