Artilux is looking for a reliable, practical Factory Hand / Production Assembler to join our Hornsby manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role involving measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling aluminium screen products. It would suit someone with previous factory, assembly, fabrication or workshop experience who takes pride in accurate, well-finished work.
The role
- Measure, cut, drill and assemble aluminium components
- Use hand and power tools safely and accurately
- Prepare mesh, frames and components
- Check completed products against job measurements
- Pack finished products for installation
- Assist with stock, deliveries and general factory duties
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
What we’re looking for
- Previous factory, manufacturing, assembly or workshop experience
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Able to read a tape measure and work accurately in millimetres
- Reliable and able to consistently start at 6:00 am
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Australian working rights
Experience with aluminium, windows, doors, screens or light manufacturing would be an advantage.
What we offer
- $27.50–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience
