Kingdom Nursery is a well-established, family-owned wholesale plant business located in picturesque Lake Innes, just a short drive from Port Macquarie. We are dedicated to cultivating and distributing high-quality plants to a wide range of customers. We're currently seeking an energetic and physically capable Casual Nursery Hand / Order Picker to join our dedicated team immediately for the season with possibility for overachiever's to play a more permanent role.

This position involves working closely within a small, friendly team, and proven experience in a team-based setting is required.
While a deep knowledge of plants or prior nursery experience isn't essential, it would certainly be a valuable asset! Rest assured, we provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Efficiently selecting and preparing customer orders, ensuring a high standard of accuracy and presentation.
- Meticulously checking and maintaining plant health during the order fulfilment process.
- Contributing to a tidy and organised dispatch area.
- Assisting with the detailing and packing of plants onto trolleys, ready for customer dispatch.
- From time to time, assisting with general nursery tasks or stock maintenance.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability: This casual position requires a firm commitment for 8-24 hours per week, specifically Monday's, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Absolute Reliability: This is critical for our small, busy team. Our core operations depend on consistent attendance during these set hours (Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM overall for the business), and your presence is vital to our workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively and harmoniously within a team environment.
- Physical Stamina: The role involves continuous movement, including standing for long periods, regular bending, lifting, and carrying (some heavy lifting is a key part of the job).
- Comfort Outdoors: A genuine willingness to work in all weather conditions. Our living products require attention regardless of sun, rain, or cooler temperatures.
- Early Start: Ability to reliably commence work at 7:30 AM each day.
- Independent Transport: Your own reliable vehicle is essential, as public transport options in this area are extremely limited and may not align with our early start times. Please confirm your transport arrangements in your application.
