The Red Piranha environment is a fast paced, security focused environment and the IT Systems Administrator role has significant impact on business operations. The role involves continuous assessment of priorities across a variety of operational and uplift projects.
- Providing L1/L2 IT Support to internal and external stakeholders
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network related issues both on site and remotely
- The setup, configuration, and deployment new IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices as needed
- Conducting system maintenance and perform patching/system updates as needed
- Actively participating in the asset management lifecycle
- Working with the IT System Administrator – Lead to ensure company standards are met or exceeded
- Maintaining accurate documentation of configurations
- Traveling may be a component of this role as needed
- Proven experience in an IT support role supporting both internal and external stakeholders
- Proven knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 solutions (Office, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Entra ID), O365 Admin
- Experience with Windows Server 2012R2-2022, Active Directory/Security Structures
- Experience with a wide range of Linux systems
- Experience with VMWare ESXi
- A strong security focus, knowledge of conditional access policies, and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks
- Familiarity with network protocols, LAN/WAN/VPN technologies, and general network troubleshooting
- The ability to work independently and collaborate with a team as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders, end users, and clients
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with: Kaseya VSA, Unifi, 3CX, KVM, EDX, ITIL
- Australian Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one and maintain.
