Frankie's place Loganholme is seeking an experienced and motivated chef to join a well known Italian restaurant in Loganholme area.
We are looking for commercial cookery student who is :
- Confident working in fast paced individually or with teams.
- previous experience with Italian food is a bonus.
- Minimum of 1 years of experiences in full service kitchen.
- Compulsory qualification in commercial cookery.
- Involving with the team in creating new dishes
As a chef, you will be responsible to:
- Plan, prepare and cook a wide range of Italian and Modern Australian dishes while maintaining consistency quality and presentation.
- Develop seasonal menus and daily specials in consultation with management and customer preferences.
- Monitor food preparation, portion control and food costing to maximise quality and profitability.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service.
- Order, receive, inspect and manage stock, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment and report maintenance requirements.
- Train and support junior kitchen staff while contributing to continuous improvement of kitchen operation.
