AusCare Partners is expanding its support team and is seeking dependable female support workers who can provide domestic assistance, personal support, shopping assistance and community access to aged-care and disability clients.
These are ongoing recurring services rather than one-time cleaning jobs. We are looking for workers who can build professional, respectful and reliable relationships with clients.
Due to the personal-care requirements and preferences associated with some of these services, female applicants are required for these particular shifts.
Current and upcoming shift opportunities include:
- Narre Warren – Tuesdays, 9:30 am–11:30 am
Fortnightly, commencing immediately
- Cranbourne East – Wednesdays, 10:00 am–12:00 pm
Ongoing domestic-assistance shift
- Cranbourne – Fridays, 2:00 pm–4:00 pm
Ongoing shopping and community-assistance shift
Additional weekday services may become available in Narre Warren, Endeavour Hills, Cranbourne North and Cranbourne East.
Applicants may accept one suitable shift; however, preference may be given to workers who are available for several ongoing shifts in nearby suburbs.
Duties may include:
- Domestic cleaning and household assistance
- Personal care, where required
- Shopping and errands
- Community access and social support
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with daily activities
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
- Completing accurate shift notes
- Reporting incidents or changes in a client’s wellbeing
Essential requirements:
- Experience in disability support, aged care, community care or domestic assistance
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care, or another relevant qualification
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid Australian driver’s licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Full Australian working rights
- Professional communication and documentation skills
- Ability to commit consistently to allocated recurring shifts
Workers providing domestic assistance should be comfortable completing general household cleaning. Cleaning equipment can be discussed during onboarding.
