The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their electrical career, as well as for 2nd and 3rd-year apprentices looking to broaden their experience in a dynamic environment. You will work alongside qualified electricians, gaining practical skills in new installations, renovations, fault finding, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems (lighting, power points, switchboards, etc.)
- Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Handle tools and materials safely and efficiently
- Follow all WHS and electrical safety regulations
- Maintain a clean, organised job site and vehicle
- Attend trade school (TAFE) as required and complete coursework
What We’re Looking For
- Genuine interest in the electrical trade
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to take direction and ask questions
- Physically fit and comfortable with ladders, crawl spaces, and lifting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
- White Card (Construction Induction) – or ability to obtain
- Pre-apprenticeship (Cert II in Electrotechnology) is a plus, but not essential
