Details:The Environmental Offsets – Planning, Monitoring and Research team is looking for a skilled and experienced environmental conservation planner, with strong project management and GIS experience, and excellent people skills.
The Conservation Planner is specifically tasked with leading the development and delivery of Offset Management Plans and Spatial Offset Management Plans for both new and established environmental offset reserves across the ACT conservation estate. This will involve collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders and specialists internal and external to the ACT Parks and Conservation Service; and ensuring alignment with relevant policies and legislation.
The Conservation Planner role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of conservation and restoration in the ACT, with delivery of on-ground benefits for threatened species.

Tertiary qualifications in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science or equivalent.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
